Everyone can help, with the right access

A household has two roles. Owners can invite people, promote or remove members, and manage the household itself.Members can do everything that matters day to day — view and edit tasks, log completed work, update the panel, and keep contractor records.

A household can have more than one owner, and it always keeps at least one, so promoting a partner to co-owner shares the responsibility without ever handing off the whole household by accident.

Bring people in, two ways

However you reach someone — a text with a link or a code read over the phone — they land in the same household with full access from the first tap. Either way, the invite expires after 7 days.

  • A share link

Text or email a link. Whoever gets it taps once and they are in the household.

  • A 6-character code

No link handy? Give them a short code to type in. It opens the same invite.

One record, in sync, for everyone

Every change syncs in real time to every member's device. When one person logs a completed task or fixes a breaker label, everyone else sees it at once — nobody re-does work that's already done, and no one is left guessing what happened while they were out.

Reminders reach the household the same way. Unassigned due dates notify everyone; assign a task to one person and only they get the reminder, so the load is shared without becoming noise.

Home maintenance, finally shared.

Shared households are the foundation of Tobi.
