After an update, Tobi opens with a short list of what changed. Swipe back through anything you missed while you were away, and find every release any time in Settings under What’s New.

Pick up where you left off

Closing Tobi partway through setting up your home no longer throws that home away. Come back and the name and the tasks you entered are still there, ready for you to finish.

• Tapping a reminder reliably opens the task it names, including when the tap is what launches Tobi or when another tab was open.
• Rows in Overdue, Upcoming, and Done lead with the task, with the item it belongs to on the line underneath.
• VoiceOver reads the Back button in the new-home setup flow and the manage-member menu in the members list, both of which were unlabeled icons.

This release is mostly about getting maintenance into Tobi faster, and finding it again once it’s there.

Tobi suggests what an item needs

Start a new task, name the item you’re maintaining, like “Furnace,” and suggestions appear right above the task field, each one a task and how often it repeats. Tap one and the form fills in, ready to change before you save. Common items come back with the routine maintenance they’re known for, and anything else Tobi works out on the spot, on your device.

Suggestions need Apple Intelligence turned on. Without it, the task editor stays exactly as it was and nothing gets in your way.

Narrow the maintenance list

The maintenance list now has a Filter button. Pick an item to see only its tasks, or pick a person under Responsible to see what’s on them, with “Whole household” for everything nobody has been assigned. The filter icon fills in while a filter is on, so it’s obvious you’re looking at part of the list, and “Clear all filters” brings the rest back.

Put a face to the household

Tap your own avatar in the members list to set a profile photo from your library, and use the same spot later to replace or remove it. Only your own row is editable, and the photo you pick follows you everywhere the household sees your name.

Start a new home with a plan already in it

Setting up a new home can now go further than the first task. After you name the home and add something you don’t want to forget, Tobi offers to fill in the rest: answer which spaces the home has, tap what’s inside it and what’s outside it, and the next screen is your home’s plan, grouped by item with each task and its schedule underneath. The one you entered yourself is marked “Added by you,” and every line of it can be changed or removed, right then or any time later.

More room on iPad

On an iPad, Settings is a sidebar tab alongside the rest of the app instead of a screen pushed from the household list, and the toolbar buttons that repeat what the sidebar already offers are gone. Resize or rotate mid-task and Tobi keeps you on the screen you were on.

Fixes and improvements

• Settings has a Send Feedback form with your email already filled in, and an option that sends the message, copies it, and opens the App Store so you can paste it into a review.
• Tobi asks “Is Tobi keeping your home on track?” before it ever asks for a review. Answer “Not yet” and you get the feedback form instead of the App Store.
• A household that stalls while loading now offers Send Feedback and Sign Out instead of leaving you on a spinner.
• Completion emails name the contractor who did the work and show the date it was done.
• Fixed a profile photo failing to upload when your sign-in needed refreshing first.

One maintenance log for the whole house

Add the things in your home as items, like a furnace or water heater, and give each one tasks, like “Replace air filter.” A task repeats on a schedule, like every 3 months, or happens once on a date you pick, and the maintenance list keeps everything sorted into Overdue, Upcoming, and Done. Assign a task to one person or leave it open for the whole household.

Completing a task records the date, who did it, and what was done this time, and a recurring task picks up its next due date automatically. Every past completion stays with the task, so anyone can see what was done and when without asking around. An item also holds its manual link and the replacement part to re-order, so both are on hand when the task comes up.

Know what every breaker controls

Build your breaker panel on screen: pick a standard size, from 12 to 42 slots, or enter a custom slot count. Circuits cover single-pole, tandem, double-pole, and combined arrangements, and you place each one by tapping the slot where it belongs. Give every circuit a label, like “Range / Oven,” and a confidence flag of Correct, Unverified, or Incorrect, so anyone at the panel knows which labels to trust.

The people you hire, on record

Contractors get their own records with name, company, trade, and contact details. When a contractor does the work, complete the task as them instead of yourself, and open their record later to see everything they’ve done at your home.

Bring in the household

Invite someone with a share link or a 6-character code, and everyone sees the same maintenance list, panel, and history, updated live on their own device. Owners invite, promote, and remove members, and every member can add and edit maintenance.

Reminders that follow up

Tobi reminds you the day a task is due and again the day after if it hasn’t been done. An assigned task reminds just that person, a shared task reminds everyone, and anyone can snooze their own reminder to a day they pick. Optional emails add a daily digest on days something is due or overdue, a monthly summary, and a note when someone completes a task.

Tobi gives your whole household one place for the maintenance log. Track every part of your home, set tasks to repeat on a schedule or happen just once, and record who did the work each time. The history stays put, so anyone can see what was done and when without having to ask around.

The electrical panel schedule is an editable model of your real breaker box, in the standard residential sizes and covering single-pole, tandem, double-pole, and combined circuits. Label each circuit and mark how sure you are with a confidence flag, so the next person at the panel can tell what’s trustworthy and what’s still a guess.

Every task can carry a due date, and Tobi reminds you before it slips. Reminders reach whoever a task is assigned to, or everyone when it’s shared, by push notification and optional email. Snooze anything to a date that suits you.

Invite the rest of your household with a link or a short code, and everyone sees the same maintenance log, panel, and history in real time. Only the owner subscribes; anyone they invite gets full access at no extra cost.
